Additional Terms & Refund Policy Service Providers:

Appointment Leads. If a Consumer accepts your Quote through the Services, indicating that he or she would like to schedule an appointment with you, then SideWork will provide you with the Consumer’s contact information in exchange for an appointment fee (an “appointment lead”). To purchase a particular appointment lead, you must have an active payment source in your SideWork account. The cost for an appointment lead varies depending on service type, expected project cost, demand and other factors , and may be adjusted from time to time by SideWork in its sole discretion.

Returns. Appointment credits may be refunded to the Service Provider only if: (i) the Lead Information includes a non-working or invalid phone number or email address; (ii) the Lead Information includes an obviously fraudulent first and/or last name (e.g., Mickey Mouse); (iii) the Lead contact person indicates, either verbally or in writing, that they never inquired about the service and did not request to be contacted, and Buyer does not thereafter provide services for the Lead; (iv) the Lead contact person indicates that no one with the given name lives at the indicated address or is authorized to make decisions regarding the property; (v) the Lead contact person is a solicitor seeking to sell goods or services; (vi) the Lead did not turn into an appointment with the homeowner (SideWork does verification of this with the homeowner and Service Provider). A Lead meeting any of the criteria described in clauses (i) through (vi) is referred to in these terms as a “Refundable Lead.” Service Provider must submit a credit refund request (a “Credit Refund Request”) to SideWork within 14 days after delivery of a Refundable Lead, through the Service Provider’s account. Any Refundable Lead that is not timely reported to SideWork in a Credit Refund Request submitted within 14 days after delivery will be deemed to be accepted and no longer refundable. Late Fees and Billing Issues. You agree to notify SideWork of any billing discrepancies or issues within 20 days after they first appear, and if you do not, you agree that you have waived the right to dispute such billing discrepancies or issues.

Payment for Completed Work. If you do the work for the Consumer, he or she is responsible for paying you directly. If you offer a coupon in your professional profile, you must honor the discount specified in the coupon.

Suspension or Termination of Account. SideWork reserves the right to suspend or terminate your ability to receive Service Requests, purchase appointment leads or otherwise use the Services, including but not limited to as a result of default in payment obligations, at any time.
